Oshino Hakkai
Oshino Hakkai is a group of eight mystical ponds where the snowmelt from Mt.Fuji springs forth after many years. Registered as a constituent asset of the World Heritage Site, the crystal-clear “Oshino Blue” is breathtakingly beautiful.
One of the highlights is strolling through the original Japanese landscape created by thatched-roofed traditional houses and Mount Fuji, while enjoying the local specialty “yakikusamochi” (grilled mochi) and tofu. It is a healing power spot where your heart will be cleansed by the beautiful water and nostalgic scenery.
