Arakurayama Sengen Park/Chureito Pagoda
Arakurayama Sengen Park is drawing attention from around the world for its breathtaking scenery. The view combining Mount Fuji, the Five-Storied Pagoda (Chureito Pagoda), and cherry blossoms captures the essence of Japan.
The observation deck requires climbing 398 stone steps called the “Sakuya Hime Stairs,” but the panoramic view makes every step worthwhile. The scenery is beautiful year-round with the cherry blossoms in spring, vibrant foliage in autumn, and crystal-clear views in winter! It’s one of Fujiyoshida’s best viewpoints and truly a must-see destination.
